Fair Policies & Payment Methods

To protect everyone's safety and security, we ask that all of our guests follow our rules and policies. Our visitors' safety is our top concern. Surveillance cameras will be operating throughout the fairgrounds every day of the fair. The property is under jurisdiction of the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and Cobb County Police Department. At least 50 law enforcement officials will be on the grounds at all times during the fair as well as Cobb County's mobile 911 unit. *Parking: $5 CASH ONLY

*Admission & Ride Tickets: Cash, Card, Tap & Pay

*Most vendors inside the park accept both cash and card

North Georgia State Fair Policies

Youth Attendance Policy

After 6pm each day, no individual under the age of 17 will be allowed admission without a parent.

Clear Bag Policy

Only clear bags will be allowed and must not exceed 12" x 6" x 12". One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags and small clutch purses, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" are also permitted. Diaper bags and medically necessary items are allowed after proper inspection and tagging. ALL BAGS SUBJECT TO SEARCH. Prohibited items: 

  • Purses or clutch bags larger than 4.5" x 6.5" 

  • Backpacks

  • Binocular cases 

  • Camera cases

  • Cinch/drawstring bags

  • Fanny Packs

  • Tinted or printed pattern plastic bags

  • Oversize tote bags

  • Mesh bags

  • Briefcases 

  • Luggage of any kind

  • Computer bags 

Gate Entry Policy

No fair entry allowed Sunday through Thursday after 9:00pm, and Friday and Saturday after 10:00pm.

First Aid/Lost Parents

The Northside Hospital First Aid/Lost Parents tent is located near the main gate. 


Fair re-entry will not be permitted.

Lost and Found

If you lost or misplaced a belonging at the fair feel free to call us at 770-528-8989 or email at - Lost and Found is located at the front desk in the Georgia Grown Exhibit Hall

COVID-19 Policy

COVID exposure is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present. Guests should only attend after evaluating their own health risks. Purchase of a ticket and entry on to the fairgrounds constitutes your understanding of these risks and your willingness to undertake the risk of exposure. 

No Outside Food or Drinks

No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed to be brought into the fair. Exceptions may be made for guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies, baby food/formula, and individually wrapped children's snacks. 

No Pets

We know you love your pets and we love animals, too - but they are not allowed in the fair (with the exception of service animals). Guests who use service animals must retain control of their animals at all times and should keep them on a leash or harness while visiting. 

Photo Policy

Smile! Photo, video and audio may be taken for promotional purposes. By entering the Superior Plumbing Presents North Georgia State Fair, you consent, waive all rights to royalties and release the North Georgia State Fair of any liability. You agree to your likeness being used, published or reproduced in any and all media which can be used, now or in the future, for any purpose by or in connection with the North Georgia State Fair. 


Soliciting, selling raffle tickets, and posting handbills is strictly prohibited, and is in violation of state statues and city ordinances. 

Smoking Policy

Smoking will only be allowed in the designated smoking areas on the grounds.
